Delores had a long, tough labor with Laurie. She said she felt her uterus didn't have enough muscle tone to give birth anymore it was so hard. She had false labor on Dec. 15th and was sent home. She returned 15 days later to give an induced birth to a healthy baby on Dec. 30th. Because they only had 3 bedrooms at the time, Laurie spent her first months in a bassinet in the hallway until they found a bigger house. They moved into a 5 bedroom home in Grosse Pointe.
