Delores and Dennis almost didn't make it to the hospital for this birth! It was very early in the morning and Dennis had just recovered from appendix surgery. Apparently that runs in the family because Mary had her appendix out in 2009 and Jerry had his out in high school. Delores only knew she was in labor because her back hurt a little and she had one labor pain. Her doctor was angry she didn't get to the hospital sooner. She thought she would have an elevator baby. Delores said she was a beautiful baby.
